          The Office of Civil Defense issued an advisory brought about by the Low-Pressure Area (LPA), formerly TD-Quennie, affecting portions in Davao Region in which Hagonoy is included.

          DOST PAG-ASA also issued general flood advisory today in which LPA based on all available data’s was estimated at 420km East of General Santos City (6.1″N, 128″E), with forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall and thunderstorm within 12-hour.

          The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office recommends for the Cancellation of Classes in all levels as preventive measures ensuring the safety of the students.

          As Acting Municipal Mayor and by virtue of the power vested in me by law, I hereby order for the CACELLATION OF CLASSES in all levels in public and private schools in this municipality, starting today until tomorrow, November 4, 2022.

          Done this 3rd day of November 2022 at Hagonoy, Davao del Sur.
