The Municipality of Hagonoy supports the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) on June 26, led by the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB). This annual event reaffirms the nation’s commitment to protecting communities from the harms of illegal drugs.

This year’s theme, “World Drug Problem: Persisting Issues, New Challenges, Innovative Responses,” highlights the importance of prevention, awareness, compassion, and collective responsibility.

Through the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS), the DDB continues to strengthen initiatives in prevention, rehabilitation, reintegration, and community participation.
